Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota - journalist, author, CNN's "New Day" morning program, Westport resident and Westport Country Playhouse trustee - has been elected. Camerota's 30 years of journalistic experience have led to her covering stories across the country and overseas. Additionally, she was awarded her the Edward R. Murrow Award and the Emmy Award. In other board of trustees' transitions Johnna G. Torsone of Stamford was named an honorary trustee following her service as a trustee since 2007 and Anna Czekaj Farber of Westport is elected board chair following her service since the beginning of 2013 on the board. Czekaj-Farber replaces Barbara Streicker of Westport, who has been the chair of the board since October 2015, and continues to serve on the board since 2006.
