Aura Garrido is a Spanish actress who works in both TV and film. She's appeared in films as Stockholm as well as the TV series El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido was born in Madrid in 1989. Tomas Garrido, her father is an orchestra conductor and composer, while Pilar Sanchez is a painter. When she was in her fourth grade she started piano classes and, shortly after that, ballet. Growing up, she had an English-speaking acquaintance. When she finished her high school education her, she attended the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico located in Madrid. In the school, she learned interpretation for three years, with a focus on translation of text. She left the school in 2010, when she was offered the role of Planes para manana. The film won her the Silver Biznaga in the Best Supporting Actress category and also a nomination for the Goya Awards' best debut actress.
