Sharon Yvonne Stone (born March 10 1959) was born in Meadville Pennsylvania to Dorothy Lawson an accountant and Joseph William Stone Jr. A tool and die manufacturer, who been employed as a worker in a manufacturing company. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her three siblings. Stone was thought to be gifted academically as a child and began the second grade when she was five. Saegertown Senior High School in Saegertown Pennsylvania was the place where she received her diploma in 1975. She also competed in Miss Pennsylvania. Miss Pennsylvania pageant and won Miss Crawford County. Stone and her aunt in 1977, moved into New Jersey for a modeling job. She was signed by Ford Modeling Agency a week after. After a year spent in Milan and Paris the model moved to Europe. Stone was, however, unhappy with acting and modeling in Europe. She decided to continue her career acting as a model while she lived there. The film of Woody Allen, "Stardust Memories", was a mixed success when she was 20.
