Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began when she was 14 years old. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing boxing and wrestling before making her first appearance as an amateur at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd built on this victory and went on a 3-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in all the fights. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia defeated Aspen to beat her a unanimous vote, leaving the mark of a loss on Aspen's records for amateur. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff to improve her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen made her pro debut in 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC. InvictaFC 11 was her first professional fight. Aspen dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing a 1st-round TKO. She won her next fight in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen's superior wrestling skill took down McGill in the first round, and she managed to finish her in the third round via TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen was then able to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, but Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy with a TKO. At Invicta FC21, she was the last fight with the company. She defeated Sijara Ebanks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She took on Linalansberg in UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina and then pounded her on the ground for a second-round TKO victory. In her second fight, she defeated Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd beat Evinger within the first minute and earned a reward for her performance on the evening. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent in the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's first major match. Ladd took home the unanimous decision after some great exchanges between the two fighters, was awarded the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds, putting an end to her winning streak. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya after the third round at UFC in ESPN 7. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. She was beaten by a majority decision.
